Penn State ranked No. 1 again for best online bachelor’s degree programs

Actually tied with Embry-Riddle. The remainder of the top ten are:

Western Kentucky
University of Illinois...................Chicago
Georgia
Temple
Daytona State
Ohio State
Oregon State
University of Wisconsin...................Whitewater

Bears a resemblance to PSU's recent football schedules.:)

One thing to remember - the courses offered via WD delivery are "property" of the College/Department at Penn State - bona fide courses/content/instruction. WD is simply a "partner/facilitator" in the process. The space is becoming incredibly competitive with new entrants like Univ of Ark [land grant institution]. PS has been offering online study since '99. It is only something to be incredibly proud of from a PS perspective.

Credit Graham Spanier for having the foresight to start World Campus, too. Without it, many academic units within PSU would be hurting for resources.

It's really amazing that World Campus has grown into what it is--I don't think anyone could've predicted it.

US News!?!?!? Who cares, I want to know what some obscure "world ranking" of online programs thinks. I'd also like to know what the admission criteria are to the program, so I can cherry pick the ones that make my school look favorable, while simultaneously ignoring the fact that those admission criteria have nothing to do with student engagement, faculty credentials, academic services and reputation. #FailToPitt

Pretty hilarious.

And if PSU were unranked or even ranked #5, you guys would bitch. When it comes to academics, you don't find fault with #1.
92, Relax, I think you misunderstood. Go back to Art's post. My post was in reference only to his comment about our recent football schedules. Thought it was pretty funny. It had nothing to do with these rankings re: on-line degrees. But, I suppose "it's more fun to cherry-pick and make an issue when there isn't one". Correct?

Congratulations to President Barron on this achievement. It's a very cost effective way for the university to invest in excellent academic performance.
