PennLive just went paywall

So rejoice all-knowing board - you won't have to read Jones anymore, because you won't be able to.
Where do I sign up to pay them so I can continue to access their fine journalistic content?

I don't get any paywall when I go there.

Half the paywalls are facades anyway. You can usually view the article, even in non-incognito mode.

What settings?

I went to the google main home page. Went to the upper right part of the screen and clicked the 3 little dots. Dropped down to settings and left clicked.

Then go to the settings on the left. Left click. Hit anvanced. Then privacy and security, then content settings. Then go to cookies and add penn live to block. www.pennlive.com. One final step, there are 3 little black dots to the right, Click the one that adds "clear on exit".

I did not have to do anything to view on my ipad or iphone. I did have to make these changes on my HP desktop.

so if a tree falls in the woods and nobody is around does it make a sound? If you put up a paywall but nobody wants to read your garbage newspaper is there really a paywall?

They priced it too high IMO - $14.99. I might subscribe at a lower price. I subscribe to at least 4 different digital papers - one including Sunday delivery of the actual paper and 2 that are more national and all are less than that. I also feel that they are too heavily invested in perpetuating the false narrative, so I may not subscribe at a lower price. Maybe once they can chief propagandist Charles Thompson..

Will be interesting to see how this works out. From a financial perspective it's not a slam dunk.

I'm in for doing nothing. You can try incognito/privacy windows or TOR if you're having problems.
