It's funny, but the corrupt Penn State trustees really flipped my switch. They had the gall to steal millions from your university and yet they ruined other peoples lives in order to shield themselves. But, alas for them their deeds will become known. It is inevitable and there will be some surprises.

There is no doubt that i have mellowed in my later years and perhaps father Sica finally got through to me or i might have taken matters into my own hands. You see, respect is paramount in our world. But, absolutely no one in our circle respects your corrupt trustees. One or two of them we tolerate, but they were not the masterminds of your scandal.

I am a fixer.

Statewide, we have to monitor and play both sides of the fence, so to speak. We do business with both republicans and democrats. Money is money.

Who do you think got fast eddie out of his little emperor's club 'problem'? We owed eddie a favor for the casino. I call it good business.

We all make mistakes.

Someone mentioned Russ's involvement with some dress factories. It's true and i rue the current shamokin situation. The low class documentary, Something's Smokin' in Shamokin created some negativity, but it was quickly forgotten. But, that is a story for another day.

If I had to pick an all-time favorite movie......it would probably be The Godfather.

An absolutely outstanding cast.
Absolutely outstanding novel to base the movie on.
The Producer/Director/Writer team did a wonderful job of keeping all of the great writing from the book.....much of the dialogue was verbatim from the novel
They obviously had to trim some from the full book, but they managed to portray everything included in the book, and keep things coherent despite some of the cutting that had to be done.

The wonderful thing about both the Novel and the Movie was the way in which the material was presented in such a basic....not sensationalized....way. Such that you really felt - "this is what it could have been like"....."this is how things got the way they are"

As time goes by.....it is AMAZING how many things come to light that are SOOO closely aligned with the types of things Puzo wrote about.....whether its stuff that has become public in the various "Mob Prosecutions" or what not.

Without question Frank is a friend of the Corleones as well as Mr. Roth. The others are a gang of treacherous, backstabbing scumbags.
