I was a member of a D3 staff in LaGrange Ga. I worked for Matt Mumme the son of Hal Mumme and served under a DC who had a lot of connections. I was GA then worked my way up to being a position coach. Now being at that level isn't obviously the same as Penn State but the concept of coaches constantly trying to build connections and climb the ladder was the same. Moorhead built connections with the coaches on staff and would be stupid not to try and hire them. And the assistants such as Huff would be stupid not to take a role that gives them more responsibility and a higher title. Ultimately that's what these guys are doing. As fans we just assume sometimes everyone is loyal and as infatuated with Penn state as us. In the end especially for these assistants they are trying to move up the ladder in every way possible. Penn State and Franklin are the vehicle for that. And Franklin understands that no doubt
