I like this time of year, TCM usually shows a bunch of older horror films. The Hammer studio has been prominently featured lately, and Peter Cushing has been in a bunch of them. What an absolutely brilliant actor. His character always seems like he is taking the scene in and evaluating how to act next based on how things play out. There are times I can't tell if he is the good guy or the bad guy, he always manages to convey his character's motives and point of view. Just such a wonderful attention to detail.

The old Hammer horror flics are really cool not to mention all the buxom women in those movies.

I watched Frankenstein Created Woman last night. I still can't decide if Cushing was a good guy or not.

The 1931 Bella Lugosi Dracula and Boris Karloff Frankenstein films are coming up in the next few days on TCM. Same with 1958's Cushing and Lee Dracula movie.
