Thought that CJF would reel in Toney, Brown, and Handsford at LB. Jed says we get Ferns eventually. Commented that it would match anyone's LB class, but that t-oh-high-ya-state-You would still have equal or better LB talent with what they brought in the last few classes.

Thought we will see a couple commits come out of the big barbeque, Lashe Bash....

They were lov'in CJF getting into Cincy, and talked about some Cincy kids that came to PSU a ways back.

Also talked about CJF recruiting FL and the Carolina's, mentioning some key players on the great 80's and 90's teams form those parts.....

They were not optimistic about Pryts.

Again, you cannot get them all. Best of luck to Pryts, and lets go out and get those great linebackers, and go after Nixon...and set that pipeline to the south.

Phil also predicted that not everyone would know the Women's US Open was played at Lancaster CC last weekend......

I agree, its unfortunate that Ed Pryts can't separate the board of turds from the superb coaching staff, faculty, town, alumni base and student body. We'll be okay if we get Aaron Hansford.

It's going to be interesting how this class plays out. And, how many we sign. If we can recruit in Ohio and Michigan it will be good news for a long time. Need to throw in more success on the field. Arob, Zettel and Tim Shaw are great examples of Michigan kids who were well-served by going to PSU. Let's get that Ohio train moving too.

No benefit to the recruit, but it allows folks with "insider" knowledge of these so-called silent verbals to feel smug, self-satisfied, and important.
I will stick with my belief that there is no such thing as a silent verbal.

We need LBs but I doubt that we take 3 or 4. I'm not sure whey Phil would say that our LB class will be as good as any since Ferns is the only 4* recruit.

Dioubate & Ferns remain my top 2. Hamlin is also a high priority (not just because of his skill but his commit might strengthen Sanders commit). Unfortunately it sounds like no chance with Gary and Betiku is a long shot.

Brown and Hansford are 4 stars and both have fantastic offer sheets

Ferns is a unanimous 4*. Brown 4*- Scout, ESPN, Rivals & 247 composite; 3*- 247. Hansford 4*- ESPN & Rivals; 3*- Scout, 247, & 247 composite.

247 might move Hansford up though after the Opening re-ranks are done.
