So the annual rite of summer in Pittsburgh has begun. Another 18 year old Latin American who probably never will amount to anything. I guess it's okay considering they traded a guy in his late 30s rather than a player in his prime.
The good news is he may really be 23...you just don't know it! : )
Considering it’s the Pirates, I wouldn’t be surprised if he turns out to be as old as Santana.

In his first game in the Pirates’ system, the infielder went 1-for-3 with a home run for the FCL Pirates. Power was already showing up in his game, with four homers in the Arizona Complex League in 48 at-bats prior to the trade. Milwaukee signed Severino for $1.23 million in January 2022.
