Pitt AD Heather Lyke said Wednesday the school has an agreement in place to play Penn State in football for four seasons beginning in 2026, but it hasn’t been signed.
Translation: Pitt has given Penn State a contract to sign for a 4 game series that Pitt agrees to, but Penn State does not. Now Pitt continues their media blitz trying to put pressure on PSU knowing full well PSU holds all the cards and they need us more than we'll ever need them. There's no agreement until there's an agreement.
I hope Sandy sends it back and rewrites it as a 2 for 1. It's their only chance of getting a sellout once every few years. This is like me writing up an contract to buy a $300K home for $50K and mailing it to the homeowner then saying there's an agreement in place why haven't you signed?
