Yes, they really are. It appears as though the 7K missing to get to 107K for some games are all at the Pitt games. I'd guess a solid 13K in the stands there(if lucky). I'm sure if you check what Pitt reported it was 45K. Pitt makes make it too easy.

Who cares? The lousy attendance at Pitt games is truly pathetic. Pitt football is like 4th or 5th fiddle in Pittsburgh. They think sharing a facility with a pro team is special when recruits don't care because it literally has nothing to do with Pitt football. They have a lousy program that nobody respects.

They can make snarky comments about our sad excuse for an OOC schedule with license... But certainly not about our attendance.

OOC laziness is a huge long-term threat to the program... Not much different than GM padding sales-figures with sales to fleet-customers - eventually it comes back to sting you ... Either way it's a tell-tale sign of poor management / lazy leadership

Plus, there is nothing very wonderful about sharing facilities with this Steeler team, anyway.

From a program who plays a spring game at a high school field, who has what, like 4 recruits for 2016 and 3 of them are 2 stars, lost a bowl game 3-0 with lesean mccoy at tailback, lost in the funniest, biggest comeback in a bowl game last year (up 28 with 6 minutes left?!), tickets to their games are 99 cents on stubhub (or buy a soda, get a ticket free), a program whose recruits readily jump to psu even if they are committed to pitt if they get that offer. Goddamn hilarious.

They are all out at the museums and opera on Saturdays, you oaf.

Had a buddy play for UConn and drug me to a game at Heinz vs sPitt bc a ton of the guys he played with and graduated with were going. These guys would stay at our apartment in Beaver Hill so they were buddies of mine too. Anyway, one of the greatest naps I've ever taken...that game was so boring there were multiple people sleeping. Funny as hell too.

Omg, those pictures are actually during game play. I thought at first it was maybe an hour before kickoff or so. If the Pitt program was a person, I would tell them to kill themselves. Or, let me do it for you.

What a joke of a University.

They need whoever the visiting team is to fill their stadium. Their fan base won't do it. They NEED PSU to help with attendance...PSU does not need them at all. This would be a truely one sided benefit for Pitt

People who can't even fill HALF their RENTED stadium should not open their pie-holes. But then again what else would you expect from someone whose education level takes them to ":do you want to supersize your order?" or " $20 on pump 3".

When listing momentous games in Pitt history, I ask how could you possible leave out last years record setting futility that was the Pitt/Ga Tech game where Pitt set the record by fumbling 5 in the 1st quarter, all recovered by Ga tech, four of which led to touchdowns. That is a highlight film all by itself. How pathetic must both your offense and defense be that you have the opportunity to fumble 5 times in a quarter and let the opponents score on 4 of them.

Oh no!!...we only have 99,000 Fans at our OOC games! We might as well not have a football program. I think we should just close up shop

I can't believe I forgot about that one. The video that a fan made (making fun of his own team) is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Especially when he got to his seats 4 minutes into the game, Pitt was down 21 points, and the rest of his row was leaving to go home.

That was their homecoming game with the free Better than Ezra pre-game concert at Stage AE.

Thought it was Eve 6 for the pre game Homecoming concert. Maybe they can get Mr. Big of this years show.

Yeah it was Eve 6. Better than Ezra and Mr Big would be way better, may draw up to 15 people. I'd go see for for 99 cents and then leave before the game.

18: Saw you mention your apartment in Beaver Hill and was wondering if you liked living there. I have heard that the apartments in that building tend to be larger than the apartments in the other AW & Sons apartment buildings. But I also heard that tends to mean more parties going on there, which could conceivably get a little old for residents. What is your opinion of Beaver Hill?

Actually, "that thing you do" is perfect for ArmPitt football.

"You, doin that thing you do.. breaking my heart into a million pieces, like you always do"

Mind you, this was back in 1998-2002, yes there were parties, but I never remember thinking, "I can't sleep, or turn down your music.", it was the place to be really. We had 3 smoke shows from Philly that lived across the hall from us and they come over all the time to watch tv in short shorts, those girls partied hard than I've ever witnessed!!! We'd throw a party once a semester, I'd get 2 kegs, scramble to bum a tap from a friend who you'd think was giving you his first born, I wouldn't charge a dime and pack the apartment!!! Such good times!! Last story, we had a party during the PSU/pitt weekend and some kid we knew came over with a kid from Pitt...this dude yammed on and on about Pitt, it was so annoying, plus it was so loud and he wanted to talk in your ear. Anyway, he started yapping to someone else so I looked at my roommate, flip the tap to a continuous pour, stuck it in his back pocket and walked away. I miss those days.
