sure have had their moments in the sun during 2016. It's great to see such success.
8-4 Pitt's high-points were the amazing offensive explosion in their W over Clemson - on the road!, and beating us early, at their place. Imagine if they had a D!??! That makes a BIG win in Sept, and a BIG win in Nov. They are on a tear right now. How many points did they score vs Syracuse? How many did they give up, and still win?
And 9-3 Temple is now playing for a conference title with an impressive record , the year after losing their two best players. So much for a "one-shot" team and a "lucky" win over us in Philly. They are here to stay ( as long as their HC does.). Their HC thinks this years team is better than last years.
Looks to me like PA football is perhaps the best its ever been, or at least in recent decades. You gotta like that.
SO: Predict the final, post bowl national rankings for these three fine PA teams. And rank them as a threesome within PA.
Whatever the outcome, recruiting PA kids will be a little tougher in the coming years, with three good choices to choose from, depending on your geography. PA kids will now be able to stay home ( in state) and play at the top of the CFB divisions. And that's a good thing.
