Don’t know why we are discussing Pitt, but Narduzzi does have some big upset wins. But he has way too many losses to very bad teams. As for the NFL, Pitt does have some very good players. But on 2022 53 man rosters at the start of the season, Pitt was 6th in the ACC with 17. Temple has 16. Their total is in the 30s which is right where they recruit for the most part. I think if Narduzzi was considered a good college coach, he would no longer be at Pitt.I think Narduzzi deserves some credit for the defensive prospects, particularly the secondary. His scheme tends to allow DBs to become NFL ready by putting them on an island and forcing them to learn how to cover.
Aside from him, I’d give the most credit to our TE coach (good at identifying talent in the northeast) and DL coach (recruits Florida + develops DL prospects).
So, he is good at developing players, but not recruiting them. Got it.Pitt doesn't get the talent Penn State gets. It's easier to get better players drafted. Let's be real.
Yeah that might be fair. Though more so he's good at finding kids that aren't highly ranked that have potential because Pitt isn't beating Penn State, Ohio State, etc for top kids very often. So, he is good at developing players, but not recruiting them. Got it.
Just not the kind of guy majors want as the face of their program. Tastes his foot too often.Don’t know why we are discussing Pitt, but Narduzzi does have some big upset wins. Maybe he likes it! 😀Just not the kind of guy majors want as the face of their program. Tastes his foot too often.
Just showing off his flexibility for an old guy…..🤷🏼♀️Maybe he likes it! 😀
and you know that how Nostradamus? you don't but keep making sure you say the opposite of what anyone posts based on zero facts.Penn State would still be in the Big Ten
I'd insert a Marv Albert joke here, but, as you quite accurately depict, we're talking about his own foot.Just showing off his flexibility for an old guy…..🤷🏼♀️
$$$and you know that how Nostradamus? you don't but keep making sure you say the opposite of what anyone posts based on zero facts.
I think a school like Rutgers should make a pitch for him. They cant seem to do anything unless Schiano is there and he's not exactly having much success his 2nd go around either.Just not the kind of guy majors want as the face of their program. Tastes his foot too often.
It was never happening for long anyway. The old eastern football conference would have fared similar to the Big 12, IMO. It got dissolved because none of the good football schools liked each other. Same situation in the northeast.and you know that how Nostradamus? you don't but keep making sure you say the opposite of what anyone posts based on zero facts.
You sure Sherrill was 3-2 vs Penn State. I don't believe so. No Pitt coach since the '60s that I know of had a winning record against Penn State. .500 maybe, but none with a winning record.Joe was 10-1 vs Pitt before sherrill 3-2 was shocking lol
And he wouldn’t have had any success the first time if they weren’t in a garbage conference.I think a school like Rutgers should make a pitch for him. They cant seem to do anything unless Schiano is there and he's not exactly having much success his 2nd go around either.
Note the scores -Yeah that might be fair. Though more so he's good at finding kids that aren't highly ranked that have potential because Pitt isn't beating Penn State, Ohio State, etc for top kids very often.
What do you think this has to do with beating Ohio State in recruiting?Note the scores -
