If he gets his 5th star or not will be an All American DT in short order. Barring anything obtuse concurring. You can hold me to this prediction. He is as fine a physically and mentally prepared HS DT as I have watched on film. Add the tutilage of the best defensive line coach in America to help him refine a few things and Dwight Galt plus what PJ has already and look out, you have an All American wrecking machine.

He looks the part.

At first, I thought he looked a little thin during the UA game. Then they announced the guy standing next to him was 6'2" 377 lbs. :)

Seems there might be quite a few Freshmen who will make the 2/3 deep and play some this year.

Get used to it. Elite HS players expect to play right away. RS only if injured. By last count, PSU has 14 blue chip recruits. Most will be on the depth chart and probably half of them will play.

totally agree - RS is for the player who is not ready physically, mentally or has some academic issues to get settled down + the original reason for RS was injury (i.e. that was where the name came from). the elite player that you RS will just be a 2 year player as they are mostly gone after 3 years on campus. Juwan Johnson would probably have declared for the draft this year if we did not have such a great cast around him. he was one of many and with one ball could not show as much dominance. Next year we will see it, so he will have lasted 4 years. very few elite players would ever stay 5 years.
