Daniel George, Trent Gordon, Justin Shorter, Zack Kuntz, Nick Tarburton are all sitting at having played in 3 games or less thru the regular season, and can therefore play in the bowl and still have redshirt freshman status next season.

I saw Oweh playing Saturday. Has he exceeded 4 games played?

The only Freshman that would burn his redshirt if he plays in the bowl is Oweh. He has played in 4 games. All other Freshmen have either already burnt their redshirt or have played in less than 4 games. Doubt we will see Oweh again this season. All others could play in the bowl

Is there really a need for this rule? Why not just give them 5 years to play 5?
