...about base running, stolen bases, and these idiotic long pants players wear today.

I know, the pups among us think that the pants are awesome. LOL.

Some people need to familiarize themselves with the MLB stolen base record.

Here we are in a time with the strongest and fastest athletes ever, yet nobody (and I mean nobody) is tearing up the bases in any significant fashion. It has been since 2010 since any player has had a remarkable season for SBs.

Don't tell me these ahole pants have nothing to do with it.

Exactly. There are many reasons why stolen bases are down in mlb (most importantly teams have a better understanding of the statistical risk aspects of attempted steals). The pants aren't in the top 10 reasons.
