POLL: UK vs WVU tonight

The poll should have been percent chance or odds of WVU winning

There isn't a sane person outside of the state of WV or the Mountaneer alumni that believes that WVU will beat Kentucky. Of course, the odds of WVU beating Kentucky would vary from person to person.

My heart says WVU ... just saw a stake truck loaded with some broken down couches heading south on I79.

Their defense is something to behold and Huggins will have them playing lights out.

But Calipari's team is really on a different plane and I would expect them to win by around 8 - 10 points.

It will be fun to watch.

PS: A co-worker is a bug WVU fan and he is really upset about the 9:40 pm start time (guy gets up around 5:00 every day and drives nearly an hour to be at work by 7:00) ... I told him to DVR the game and get up at 4:45. Fast forward through the commercials and fluff and he can stop for breakfast before arriving at 7:00.

Re: WVU fans are all like...,.

They came over from the Huntington WV area when Marshall didn't make the tournament.

Sarge - Some Perspective From "The Ledge"!

KU lost the #1 and #3 guys to the NBA draft last spring. Unfortunately the #3 guy was hurt near the end of the season, missed the 2014 NCAAs.

This year KU still (1) won the Big 12 for the eleventh year in a row, (2) went undefeated at home and (3) have not lost on Senior Night (season ending home game) since 1983.....a couple months after PSU beat Georgia in the Sugar Bowl.

KU again had their top player (Ellis) injured for the 2015 NCAAs and Emmert and company also failed to expedite Alexander's review, thus sitting one of the top five freshmen recruits.....just another reason for me to hate Emmert and the NCAA.

WSU had an outstanding team last year and this year's veteran team was grossly underseeded at a #7. WSU outplayed, outshot, and outhustled KU. They were the better team that afternoon. (But, as a side note, KU was up by 8 five minutes before the half before WSU went up by 3 with all the momentum at the half because a WSU elbow sent Ellis to the locker room for those five minutes. KU never got the momentum back in the second half.) Disappointing.....but there are A LOT of teams that would love to have the year KU had, especially facing the toughest schedule in the country.

I'm still out on the ledge, but it's because of losing my basset hound, not because KU lost.

ND - WSU should be an entertaining game tonight!
