Positives from yesterday...

You are entitled to your opinion. Mine is that issues with who was at RB had absolutely nothing to do with PSU's sub par performance.
Agree. If there were issues, we could start by ruling out some of the most positive
Running back play
QB play-- that McSorley guy is awfully good under pressure
Placekicking
KJ Hamler as a playmaker

The Offense scored 38 points in regulation. That should win the game every time.
*poor special teams/ KO return for TD and permitting an onsides kick.
*defense that bled 28 points in the fourth quarter.
including a gift TD on a blown coverage.

Going forward, Trace has to look for other WRs. It's almost like once JJ dropped the first pass, Trace wanted to compensate for it and kept going his way.

RBs all played well. Probably need to establish the run with this team. 4th quarter, inside our own 5 after momentum changed wasn't the time for it.

I thought our TEs played well. Two catches, no whiffs. Need to incorporate them more.

And Hamler. I'd open up with an RPO to him vs Pitt. Put him in the back field, let him run the Wheel.
