Possibly cold enough at higher elevation for snow. That would add another wrinkle to Saturday's game, rain or snow with high winds. Assuming the worst, who does it advantage? Crap weather could keep attendance much lower than otherwise expected.

Of course, this is a long range forecast where a lot needs to happen to affect the region, much less the game.

Here we go again. That forecast was for the Philly area. Accuweather says cloudy in State College with a high of 45 with rain or drizzle possible. Not great weather for the fans but not a nor’easter.

We need a wrinkle. Lord knows it isn’t coming from our offense.

No Nor'Easter forecast for the Ct. shoreline on Saturday. Cold, possible showers and winds to 15mph from the NE. That is not a Nor'Easter though, not powerful enough.

Got the first north wind in a long time here in SoFla. In the 60's last night. Breath of fresh air. Finally.

In mid to upper 40s for game in SC. Only place snow is predicted is Maine. Rain in SC.

Definitely to the advantage of Iowa. They are built for this. We aren't as was shown by us trying to sling the ball in the 4th quarter against Indiana in gusty winds while trying to run out the clock.

An Iowa fan was mentioning how Stanley had problems throwing in the wind. I have not seen enough to confirm this. If the field is sloppy, I like the idea of a QB who can run when needed.

BTW, it did snow a bit in State College last Sunday and the temperatures were in the low 40’s.
Accuweather does not seem to be backing away from snow possibilities in the central Appalachians this weekend. It may be elevational this early.

Iowa really isn't built for rain this year. Their running game is mediocre and rely heavily on their TEs.

Their defense has been the story this year

Warm and dry in my family room.
Yep, and the refrigerator is 12 steps away from my chair and the bathroom I 10 steps away in the other direction with no lines. There are no knees in my back and I can recline in my seat whenever I want. Snacks and drinks are delivered to me upon request. If I get cold the thermostat goes up or the dog sits in my lap. And, I no longer have to listen to the excessively loud piped in noise, or negotiate idiotic drivers or idiotic people trying to control traffic who have no clue what thy are doing, or drunks.

My refrigerator is 10 steps and bathroom 8 steps.

Iowa is a passing team this year with a QB who can't run. A bad weather game favors PSU's superior run game.
