For any of you Dan Brown fans or movie buffs, I feel like I’m constantly trying to play Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks) in the Da Vinci Code to decode Ryan’s secret messages that he may or may not be hinting at. The two codes that I may or may not be decoding properly are regarding Aeneas Hawkins and Solomon Enis. I’m thinking Franklin may already have 2 other silent commits and my reasons are below. Throw Rasheed Walker basically in this group as well, and we are really getting close to having this class finished and one that looks really nice.
Aeneas Hawkins
I even had to go back and re-read the recruiting chat a few times to really get a clearer picture on this one. Literally, everyone has changed their Crystal Ball predictions; another writer mentioned he may have committed to Franklin during the Lasch Bash. In the recruiting chat Ryan states, “It will be interesting to see what happens with Hawkins.” He also stated that he’s lower on the list then Mustipher, Oweh and Parsons, but he never said he wasn’t a take. I’m thinking he may have commited and does in fact want to make that video he’s been talking about, then make it public here soon.
Solomon Enis
Ryan’s write-up in the latest offers he states, “ If all goes to plan, we wouldn’t be surprised if he’s officially a Nittany Lion by the end of that week.” Does that mean he is a silent commit unofficially and plans to make it official after his official visit for the IU game. That would also hold true that we are taking 1-2 more WR’s and that would mean we have 4 already in the fold with possibly Dotson as well.
So could we really be just a few weeks away from almost a full class, exciting times and maybe Oweh’s visits go poorly and he too could be a Lion soon. I could be completely wrong on both fronts but I have tried taking different angles to read Ryan’s messages because he does have underlying meanings in them.
