1. I have lowered my expectations but obviously not enough. The team has really not improved over the year. I need to readjust downward some more for now.
2. The O is pathetic when it comes to any type of consistency. None! This is not Vanderbilt, PSU fans do have expectations regarding performance.
3. The M defensive line overwhelmed the O and nothing.....NOTHING worked. It all starts up front and our horses are not near the caliber of some others in the B1G. Will they get their in my lifetime?
4. We do have some skill position studs but I see no terminators up front where this game starts.
5. Special teams just are not doing their jobs. Kicking.....sub-par. Punting.....sub-par. Kickoff coverage.....sub-par. Do they really work on these issues during the week or are they playing flag football?
6. Loved all the roll outs and counters plays that might have had some success or were successful in the past. really liked the wildcat flip to the hack and pass to a wide open receiver. Oops, poor executions.
7. Have a 3 1/2 hour drive up and back so we left when M scored their 28th point. Got to my car and got out of the grass and onto the gravel entrance road. Sat there one hour and 50 minutes in line without moving one inch. Walked up to the road to see what the problem was and they were letting one car out and stopping to allow others coming from the RV lot. One hour and 50 minutes..........the PSU game day experience is changing and I sure do not see it improving. Have had tickets continuously since 1974and made this trip so many time I can drive it in my sleep........it's getting harder to go because of PSU game day management.
