The WSJ had a cartoon some 30 years ago or more which showed a courtroom scene. Defense lawyer is on his feet exclaiming to the judge. Defendant has his face in his hands. Lawyer is saying "Your Honor, unless my client comes up with another 500 bucks, we plead guilty."

Ah, but Dem didn't say they had to be funny, just "your favorite". I actually have a copy of the one I posted in my office. A friend sent it to me and I know it rings true for a lot of people.
Guess you noticed I'm playing hooky from performing much work today.
Tomorrow I’ll once again start my retreat to earning a living.
Anyway I'll eventually find the jewels. I do a lot of tower (structural testimony or writing structural reports) for cellular carriers & work closely with numerous attorneys in Maryland, PA, and DE.
My favorite is the attorney/robber baron sitting in his office with the caption: "What would Satan do?"
