Pray for Nick Scott’s Grandma

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Police are looking for an elderly woman in the early stages of dementia after she apparently walked away from her home Thursday afternoon.

Minnie Scott, 79, may be confused or disoriented. Investigators believe she walked away from the 700 block of South Second Street around 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Chambersburg police said.

Scott is about five feet, five inches tall. She was wearing a cream colored dress and a white hat with a flower on it.

My ministry is caring for memory care patients. The family is benefitted the most. Alzheimer’s is a terrible disease that can devastate the spouse. Glad she was found. My grandfather died if dementia. He once wandered away from dad’s home in Olean NY. Police found him 60 miles away in Buffalo. I have read of done promising research that may get to human testing soon. Pray that these drugs are successful.

Wow, just this morning the wife is mentioning "what is it with all these missing people occurrences" and then I read this. Glad his grandmother has been found. My wife's mother suffered late on-set Alzheimer's and God bless the people who helped her.
