Pre season Bowl Projections FWIW

Predictions in May don't mean much. That's why they play the games. I don't get the love affair for Michigan though. As for Wisconsin, they don't have the sweet conference schedule like they had last year. We'll see where things are in December.

Lets play the games first and then worry about where we're bowling.

I know it's meaningless but I'd rather play Auburn in the Citrus than Miami in the Peach Bowl.

Also, gotta love how the Peach (on December 29th) is a NY6 bowl game.

PSU is ranked below OSU, Michigan, Michigan State, and Wisconsin in some preseason polls. Surprisingly Maryland is up there too. That's a lot to navigate, especially for a team that loses 8 starters on defense. Of course OSU lost a lot last year too and they still won the BiG. PSU could do the same but they'll have to rely on a lot of young unproven players this year.

OSU has perennial top 5 classes so they'll be in the hunt. They won't miss Barrett with kids like Haskins (40-57 passing last year). Michigan returns a lot from their very good defense and this year they might have a QB. Wisconsin and MSU both return a lot of starters. I think OSU is the clear favorite but PSU, UM, MSU, and WIS all have a shot if OSU slips.

How did the Peach bowl wrangle itself into a NY6 game? Still trying to figure that out. ;)
