The case was argued this morning at the Appeals Court in DC. It sounded like the 2 Judges didn't buy into the concept of 'total immunity'. They appeared to have already reached their conclusions and will issue their opinion(s) very soon. One of the legal team Trump went so far ad to say a President could order Seal Team 6 assassinate a political foe of the POTUS and there could not be any legal consequence to the President, unless the Congress impeached and convicted the POTUS first . That is quite the concept and sounded like being able to shoot and kill someone on 5t Ave without any legal problems.

I'm thinking the Court will rule quickly and find there to be no absolute presidential immunity. Verdict before 1/16 with referral back to the DC Court so the trial can commence by 3/4.
