Press conference going on right now re SAE, formerly of OU.

Suuure. Whatever you say. Look, just above someone

made it clear that the kids dad is the regional VP for the co. dms works for. Believe me, that kid will not be having the ACLU handle his 1st Amendment case for him because 1) there will not be one--too embarrassing; and 2)branding yourself as the "racist with 1st Amendment rights is not something the sons of regional VPs do, and 3) they can afford better lawyers if they want to file suit, or better yet, privately threaten suit in order to get some sort of deal.

Sounds like that kid's family lit him up in public, saying 'what we saw on the video is disgusting.' I applaud that act. so maybe that kid has a shot at getting it right. Apologize and STFU and get to work proving you are not the asshole your recent conduct seems to show you to be.

Re: Yep, its all there for them. Let's see if they do. If they do not, it

Whatever. I'm glad it's giving you a hard on to rant on the internet about a couple of stupid 19 year olds.

Nutjob.

Well if they are going to expel for hate speech,

better be prepared to expel those for all hate speech, including those of the Jewish faith and even conservatives. Let me make clear that I agree with the expulsions if indeed legal.

We are especially concerned about a group that calls itself "Students for Justice in Palestine" (SJP), which has played a significant role in creating a hostile campus environment for Jewish students. At Vassar College last February, this hate group tried to shut down a planned class trip to Israel to study water issues, causing students in the class to feel bullied and unsafe. In May, Vassar's SJP posted a vile Nazi propaganda poster on its Tumblr page, depicting a many-armed figure holding a bag of money, with an American flag flying on top and a Jewish Star of David dangling from the bottom. Vassar's president condemned the SJP's conduct as "racist" and "anti-Semitic," and directed the SJP to "cease representing itself as an official Vassar group" until an investigation of the group's conduct as a bias incident was completed.
At Northeastern University, the SJP also engaged in conduct that threatened and intimidated Jewish students. This hate group sponsored protests endorsing terrorism against Israeli Jews and calling for Israel's destruction. Its members deliberately disrupted a Holocaust Awareness Week event, interfering with the speakers' free speech rights and the audience's right to hear their speeches. During midterms last February, the SJP planted authentic-looking "eviction notices" under dorm room doors, simulating the notices that they claim Israel uses when it demolishes illegally built structures. The university administration condemned the SJP, writing, "You have not shown a concerted effort to improve your practices and educate your members on how to properly operate your organization within the boundaries of university policy." The SJP was placed on probation and is permitted to operate provisionally in the fall, provided that it establishes new leadership, undergoes leadership training, and attends monthly meetings with administrators.

And more hate speech: http://www.detroitnews.com/story/opinion/2014/12/26/mcneilly-dems-hate-speech/20867313/

Those kids have now BOTH done the right thing. They have apologized,

and with luck their buddies who participated will be apologizing also. It is what a decent person does, and it is the best way to prove you are a decent person.

But there will always be those, like you, who will insist on defending the behavior even after those who committed it stop.

Yes, it is state action. But the suit will likely never be filed.

You know the cost of everything but the value of nothing.

The Constitution gaurantees your right to free speech that the FEDERAL

Government will not pass any LAWS prohibiting Free Speech. I don't see how The Constitution applies in this case.

State government is also prohibited, thru the 5th and 14th Amendments,

from limiting your constitutional rights. the constitution COULD apply here, but it wont I am guessing because nobody wants to be a Skokie Nazi.

Re: So, are you saying until the criminal trials are over nobody can be suspend

That's not what I said. Penn State has a process and it should be followed.

Re: State government is also prohibited, thru the 5th and 14th Amendments,

So in other words this tool bag realizes that the university's actions are unconstitutional, but he's ok with that because he doesn't like the victims of the university's illegal actions. Ironically, this is the same mentality that approves of lynchings.

Re: Nope. gonna run those frats out into the hills where they belong.

Sure sounds like someone has an axe to grind against fraternities. I guess someone didn't get that bid from Acacia when all of his other buddies did. Maybe it was your attitude?! You should let that anger go.

At the end we will see whether Barron has the stones to

impose the punishments. somebody made that FB page, and someone took those pictures, and either the women in those pics are women who were at the frat or with frat guys and frat guys took their pictures, or not.

True it is not the same thing as a video plainly showing the bad guys doing bad things. There IS a decent chance that we will end up with a record of these events not much different from a video--supplied by Facebook and the Internet Service providers, and confirmed by the frat guy who is already helping the authorities

If that happens, everyone should keep in mind that in the meantime, while they were making the cops prove it, they could have admitted the conduct.

It is healthy to be angry against racists and men who humiliate and degrade

women. And no, ED, I was never interested for even a moment in a frat. Nor were more than a couple of people I knew.

Maybe you should let go of your tolerance for racism and misogyny.

Re: At the end we will see whether Barron has the stones to

Oh, yes, you're right. Also, paterno, spanier, Curley and Shultz could have admitted that they raped small boys in the shower.

The constitution also has a thing called due process, which of course doesn't prevent you from proving day in and day out that you are a bigoted creep

Nope. Dont drag Joe Paterno into this loser. I do not recal a rule

by PSU requiring you to set up private FB group to post pictures of women you have taken advantage of. Paterno DID what the rules required. No chance these guys did. They either broke the rules or did nothing at all. And with regard to the one woman who saw HER OWN topless picture, somebody broke the rules.

Your KDR buddies are not fit to shine Joe's shoes.

Re: Welcome, newbie. Glad you could stop by for the last couple days.

Sure, I guess 18 years on these boards makes me newbie. Now go out to the woods and shoot your dog (it's hard to forget some of the stuff you post).

So in 18 years how many times did I post about frats?

Other than just recently I hardly remember anything about frats on here that I participated in. I do not have a dog.

Re: Nope. Dont drag Joe Paterno into this loser. I do not recal a rule

Yeah, somebody probably did do something wrong as to at least that one woman (who it appears took the responsive action that she deemed appropriate). They'll get theirs as the process plays out.

The more important point right now, is that you are frothing at the mouth for what in effect would be an internet lynching of a group of people based on what you project to be their race, social status and affiliations. That makes you the modern equivalent of a southern bigot lynch mob.

Re: So in 18 years how many times did I post about frats?

But you certainly posted on one occasion about hypothetically shooting a (your) dog in the woods. It really raised my eyebrows at the time. It's funny how it follows you around, a lot like what these rich frat boys did.

You mean the southern lynching mentioned in the chant you defended? LOL.

The first Amendment does not mean you have to take it from these racists. If they want to defend their rights, let them. That was the part you never got from the beginning, and you cannot deny your blindness about this by calling me a pseudo-racist. You're kinda stuck.

Re: You mean the southern lynching mentioned in the chant you defended? LOL.

I didn't call you a pseudo-racist. I called you an actual honest-to-God reverse racist, bigot, prejudiced against people who you don't like and dismissive of their rights.

This is entirely clear from your obnoxious posts constantly advocating an internet lynching of every "frat boy" you can identify.

Not only do you rush to judgment, but I suspect that you suffer from premature ejaculation.

Re: It is healthy to be angry against racists and men who humiliate and degrade

I have no tolerance for racism or mysogeny, I just don't have tolerance for hypocritical assholes either...

Not dismissive of their rights, just positive they can enforce them if they

want, and pretty sure they won't want to. Sorry your frat boy feelings are hurt. Could not care less at any other time, but when they are doing this sort of sh!t they need to be called on it, as do those who defend them no matter what. Like you.

As more videos surface showing people making slurs about any race, I wonder how they will decide who gets expelled and who does not. Interesting legal debate.
