The final Junior Day of the year is here for Penn State and here is what you need to know.

THE TOP TARGETS

Let's start with the top targets that are going to be on campus this weekend.

For starters, four-star quarterback Matt Zollers, an in-state prospect out of Spring-Ford will be on campus. The Royersford natives' recruitment has taken off over the last few weeks and recently took visits to both Georgia and Florida. We mentioned yesterday that UGA could be the team to watch closely in this one going forward, that being said, Penn State is making Zollers a priority, and Saturday's visit could be a big one in his recruitment as the Nittany Lions look to garner some momentum back to their side.

At wide receiver, Jeff Exinor is certainly a name to know. He's among the Nittany Lions' top wide receiver targets in the class and has developed a strong relationship thus far with the Maryland native. Of course, the Nittany Lions also have a very good relationship with Exinor's high school, McDonogh.

In the 2026 recruiting cycle, Harrisburg offensive lineman Kevin Brown is the big visitor. The four-star recruit is one of the top 30 prospects in the nation overall in the 2026 recruiting cycle and is a priority target for the Nittany Lions in the cycle. They're going to do everything they can to keep him at home.

SETTING THE TONE

There are several visitors this weekend that we're going to be watching just to get an idea of how the visit ultimately sets the tone for their recruitment and relationship with Penn State going forward.

In the 2025 recruiting cycle, wide receivers Vernon Allen, Romero Ison, Trey Jones, and Samari Reed are all worth watching closely. The Nittany Lions board at wide receiver is still filling out and is still fluid. This weekend's visits should help quite a bit in wide receivers coach Marques Hagans when it comes to figuring out that board.

On the defensive line, defensive tackles Blake Belin and Haleem Muhammed. Much like the wide receiver board, the Nittany Lions' board on the defensive line is still being sorted out. This weekend should be a good gauge of how Penn State feels about both players and vice versa. Belin does not hold an offer from Penn State yet but has made trips to Happy Valley in the past, he recently picked up an offer from Virginia. Muhammad, on the other end, is a rawer prospect only playing two years of ball so far but picked up an offer from the Nittany Lions a few weeks ago.

St. Joe's Prep athlete Cameron Smith will be on campus. The three-star prospect is nearing 20 scholarship offers in his recruitment including one from the Nittany Lions. Allen is most likely a linebacker at the next level. This will be his first opportunity to meet with new defensive coordinator and linebackers coach Tom Allen as well.

WHO COULD RECEIVE AN OFFER?

Prospects who could receive an offer from the Nittany Lions this weekend include TE Jackson Accuardi, DT Blake Belin, ATH Bradley Gompers, and ATH Teriq Mallory - all a part of the 2025 recruiting cycle. In the 2026 cycle, quarterback Derek Zammit and offensive lineman Carter Scruggs are both worth noting while 2027 prospect Sidney Rouleau will almost certainly receive an offer at some point though it's unclear if that will be this weekend.
