Programming Alert: 2014 tOSU at PSU on ESPNU now

Just watched the field goal....unf&$$!/?! BELIEVABLE!

That was a solid 3 seconds....3! 1 "one thousand", 2 "one thousand", 3 "one thousand"

The level of bias and flat ineptitude in this conference is a lethal combo.
I wish I had as much slack from my bosses as Big 10 refs have.

Sorry boss, I won't meet the deadline. I can finish it 2 days from now, though.

Oh, no worries - here's a raise.

I know. I would love to see real life examples of this stuff happening to Michigan or Ohio State. I know of the play clock issue between UM vs MSU 10-15 yrs ago.

For us, this Sh!t is common place.
-----------------------------------------------------------

IIRC, the Big Ten responded immediately to the clock issue when it adversely affected Michigan. The league ruled that the home team could no longer provide its own time keeper.

Yet, for 22 years, totally bizarre calls (and "no-calls") have adversely affected Penn State -- including after instant replay was instituted. The IR was established only after Penn State showed the league on tape the incredible officiating results against it in 2002. It did take the conference refs a few years to figure out how to get around IR, however. In 2005, the Avant "OOB catch"? Ignored. The 2012 PSU touchdown vs. Nebraska? Ignored. The 2014 buckeye disaster? "Kicked [Punted]."

Now things are back to normal around the corrupt Big Ten.
