the first.. I can't remember seeing 2 coaching staffs literally quit. The Duzz knew he couldn't score on our D, so he stopped throwing so we wouldn't score 50. He basically hid his QB's on National TV. If he had any real guts he would have put Denucci out there and let him throw a few deep middle routes.. as they would have facilitated a "ROUT".
Even less respect for IU. His D is balling all they can, he gets close. And then he sends Ramsey out. After adjusting to spying Ramsey we could have played 3 more quarters before Ramsey scored 2 more TD's vs. our D. They picked up 2 third downs by simply running in obvious passing downs.. not b/c they were smart, but b/c they were chicken#### and were content to simply punt the ball away if the runs didn't work.
BTW.. the vaunted IU D scheme wasn't all that.. PSU missed 2 whole possessions in the first Q due to KR TD and PUNT COVER TD.. by the time they had a normal number of snaps we started destroying their pass coverage. Their D was fresh.. A) they held a lot of guys out during prior game vs IAA scrubs.. B) and then they barely had to play in Q1.
