PSU held the Squawkeyes to 76 Total Offensive Yards and 4 First Downs.

..and we thought 6-4 was bad. I think this one goes ahead in the annals of futility on offense..

And 2 of those first downs were in garbage time against PSU's 2nd team D.

Pathetically, that isn’t good enough for a few.

That was an impressive W.

Dare I mention that we out-rushed Iowa 215 yards to 20 yards - all the loudmouths on here keep telling us how were soft up the middle and our OL sucks.... Iowa is a great running team between the tackles... blah, blah, blah.... Just amazing how absolutely factually wrong these losers are, but they keep on running their sorry troll mouths like the b1g douches they are....

Through 4 games, PSU has one of the best rushing defenses in the Conference and the Country - these losers continual dillusional made-up bullshit notwithstanding.

That was a good ole fashion beat down. Slow torture. Outstanding game for all involved. Not much to critique there. It was obvious from the start that there was some mean intent and they delivered. That’s what I’m talking about!

I saw one PSU fan ask a fellow on the Hawkeye sight which of the first downs was his favorite. A brutal burn.

In the 6-4 game we had 147 yards of offense and 6 first downs and 2 missed FG.

Iowa had 66 yards, but 5 first downs, in a 38-14 loss to Wisconsin in 2017. The 14 came off pick sixes. That was a 13-1 Wisconsin team that only lost to Ohio State by 6 in the Big Ten Championship Game.

I’m wondering when there was a more impressive defensive performance against a top 25 ranked team. Yes, Iowa remains a horrible offensive team, but still, that was damn impressive.

It's also impressive because Diaz's defenses will sometimes give up the big yardage play while focusing on creating chaos so total yardage isn't always reflective of how the defense played. There were really no lapses on this night.
