PSU MBB up 15-3 on OJR with 15 to go in the 1st.

38-19 PSU at the half. Very good first 12 minutes and then they went to sleep. Reeves has about 3-4 steals.

I see in the box score that Garner is 1-5 from the field, all of them being 3-pointers. Does he ever shoot from inside the arc?

80-43 with 1:30 to go. Wheeler with a nice game with 14. He's really quick but needs work on his shot.

ORU will never be good at hoops. With their conservative values, they'll always be reluctant to drive to the hole. They'll certainly never do it just for fun.

What a steal it was for us in picking up Wheeler late. He looked like a man playing against boys today as he kept taking the ball from them time and time again. It's a whole different ballgame for us when Watkins can stay out of foul trouble and protect the rim, as it allows Reaves, Bostick, Wheeler, and company to overplay the passing lanes and keep generating easy points in transition.

Really bullish on this group, but we appear to still be on an upward trajectory with what we'll have on the court next year and the following season (assuming health and all of our key guys sticking together of course). Exciting time to be a PSU hoops fan, and it's not often that we can say that.

Game at NC State Wednesday night will tell a lot. Wolfpack (5-2) knocked off #2 Arizona before falling to Northern Iowa and Tennessee, both very good teams.

It sure would be nice to have a perimeter shooter. Garner can shoot off the dribble like he did when Carr was out and he played point. It's a completely different story when spots up and tries to shoot off the pass. We get occasional 3s from Reaves and Stevens but I don't think they're the answer.
