Here we go;

125 Nico beats Klimara 3-0
133 JC over Harding, possible bonus but I'll stay conservative, 6-0
141 Heil beats Jimmy...don't think he bonuses him, 6-3
149 Zain beats Collica, major likely, 10-3
157 Nolf over JoJo...I think he widens the gap but still a regular decision, 13-3
165 D'ringer major over Morelli (even though Morelli has kept it close to other top 165's), 13-7
174 Bo over Crutchmer/Rogers, 16-7
184 Boyd over Cutch...true toss-up match that could go either way, 16-10
197 Mac wins with bonus, 20-10
HWT Marsden over Nevills, 20-13.

That looks about right to me, 157, 174, 184, & hvy are the swing matches. PSU is a big favorite at 125, 133, 149, and 197, and OSU is a big favorite at 141, and 165. This is a pretty good match up for PSU

I WONDER IF NEVILLS WRESTLES? IF THERE'S A TOURNAMENT ANYWHERE WITH THE OPPURTUNITY TO GET MULTIPLE MATCHES,HE MAY BE GOING THERE.

It's the beginning of the excuse-making. I read some of the JoJo comments as well as those talking about Nolf's match with IMar saying he was basically the beneficiary of atypical wresting from Imar and poor officiating. Really comical commentary...

Dang. I keep wanting to post a predicted score, but end up side tracked.
Penn State 24 Okie St. 9.
Assuming both squads wrestle full strength.

I'm here for the predictions.

I wish OKST was at full strength for the dual. Not that the outcome changes IMO, but the matchups are more appealing.

JoJo will be no better than a 5/6 seed at Nationals. Gantt and Miller will likely be undefeated and be the 2 and 3 seed. Loser of IMar/Nolf 2 will likely be the 4 seed (which is a shame given they would meet again in the National semi-finals and the lower bracket would arguably be a much easier road to the finals). Palacio from Cornell has also beaten JoJo and could be the 5 seed (not sure if he will have the necessary number of matches but he should). If he does, JoJo will fall to the 6 seed and not see Nolf in the semis.

OK - back on topic.

This will be a pretty competitive dual. I'm particularly looking forward to seeing how Chandler Rogers stacks up against Bo. The odds, rankings, etc. are in Bo's favor, but Rogers has the potential to make it a good match where a lot of points could be scored.

This dual is another case where some very good individual matches will happen, but the dual won't be very close. I would have rather seen PSU vs Mizzu from a spectator perspective. If Jo
Jo was wrestling and Kaid Brock wouldn't have gotten hurt it would have a competely different feel to it. I am probably most interested in 184 and 285.

I want to see J-No and The Ringer. Before he has to change his nickname. It would probably settle the DT- J-Nolf debate also.

I am not sure either side gets the bonus points you have figured in. Both sides play it safe with eyes on a bigger prize. 18-12. Now that could go out the window if there are any surprises early on.

Totally agree... I think Nolf might even major JoJo....and this could be confidence booster for Jimmy if he fights thru the match and keeps it close..

btw.. is there an "actual" trophy designated to the winner?.. or is this dual series really all just for entertainment purposes only?

21-9 "by chalk".. PSU wins 25, 33, 49, 57, 74 and 97. I think Cutch beats Boyd. PSU generates 3 points bonus and Okie State generates 1 point bonus. PSU wins it 24-10.

Recycled T-Shirts....there were a LOT of leftovers a few years ago.

You could always cross out the 03 and screen print in 2014. This 2003 Championship shirt is still a "hot commodity" on ebay. Never too late to live the glory years 13 years ago or make one up in 2014. o_O

Smith wrestling, or not makes very little difference.
Boyd quite possibly might beat McCutchen. But, Boyd isn't Nate Brown nor Gabe Dean and there is as much likelyhood Cutch wins this match. I may be mistaken, but holy rip 184 IMO is the perfect toss-up.

joseph smith will not wrestle Sunday

boyd will win
It's puzzling how definitive these statements are..."Boyd will win". Reminds me of a certain match a few weeks ago with the annointed 4 time undefeated national champion and we all saw how that turned out. I watched Boyd's match with Dean...he is definitely good, but this match is a toss-up at best.

Agree. I'm ok with it though. It's bold, and from a OSU fan. My preference would be to call it like it actually is...a toss-up. Chest-thumping after a bold GUESS is worse, imo, as for every right GUESS, there's a wrong one...just makes folks look foolish and unknowing.

HWY-Good test for Nevills. Marsden by two points.

26-12. Think you'll find a disinterested OSU team and a fired up PSU team because the idea was their coaches and one more match in BJC. Could get ugly to the tune of 30+ points

Really? Okie State has a chance to wrestle the consensus #1 team in the nation via the NWCA's own "Coaches' Poll" (PSU received all 12 1st place votes and 300 points), but Okie State is "disinterested" in their shot at undefeated and #1 PSU in a dual match? What on earth would Okie State have to be "disinterested" in regarding the genesis of some supposed idea that puts them in the precise dual they wanted with a shot at the unanimous #1? Speaking of boring us......this should be good....

Interestingly, both CP and WS on their Flo Wrestling Show that Tom Mc linked in another thread (the thread regarding the "NWCA National Duals BCS-Style Matches" and the controversy with Iowa, VaTech and Dresser) picked Mouse over Boyd this Sunday. Really surprised me that they both took Mouse as Boyd is probably the hottest 84-pounder in the nation right now having run off 9 consecutive wins since his last loss in the Consi-semis at the SS including a win over defending NC GD two weeks ago. Both CP and WS seemed to feel that Cutch had the distinct advantage in neutral and that Boyd had "slow feet" and was suceptible to the low ankle shot, ankle pick and ankle sweep. Not sure I'm as confident as CP and WS in Mouse's advantage from neutral given that Boyd put up 14 points against Dean only 2 weeks ago.

"Speaking of boring us......" (insert punchline here)

What is wrong with Jo Jo? Does anybody know? It is late in the year for injuries and that would be very unfortunate if it hampers him down the stretch having given up his redshirt.
