Always great to get the discussion going on PSU football, but this article doesn't mention DeLuka who got snaps behind Jacobs at Sam last season and earned a scholarship, doesn't mention Wylie who has been mentioned by the coaches as a player that has made strides in the S&C program and on the scout team last season and who likely will earn playing time in 2023, doesn't mention King who earned significant playing time in 2022 and didn't seem to spend as much time as Elsdon did laying on his back watching RB's run by in the Rose Bowl, and mentions Robinson as an OLB when in reality he is practicing at Mike/MLB.

It also says of Rojas "he could very easily push his way into the starting lineup as an inside linebacker with athleticism and a fearless play style", whereas short of dramatic injuries at LB Rojas has virtually no chance to start a game in his true freshman season, other than on special teams, espcially at inside LB where Rojas is reportedly not even practicing and where Elsdon, King and the true freshman Robinson are practicing.

The footage and chatter from BWI is that Carter very well could be the Mike this year after bulking up to 249 with Jacobs sliding back to Will after his weight gain this off season. Rojas was mentioned as standing out at Sam, now up to 214 as well.

At the very least, the Carter to Mike mentions were about him covering the middle when we go to 2 LB sets. It's very early. Very doubtful that anything is near set in stone. The staff showed last year that they are not afraid to play a freshman and Rojas appears to be a fast tackling machine.

Best 3 on the field and build depth.
