Pulisic is awesome

Pulisic is great and is just scratching the surface of what he can be. This US team can be pretty salty by the next World Cup if the roster is managed well.

For example, I would like to see players like Michael Bradley put out to pasture. Even in his prime, he was overmatched against top midfield players. Now, he really is a liability out there no matter the competition. They need to find a young player to replace him, and the sooner the better.

Bradley was forced to play up under Klinsman and that simply was never his strong suit. He closed a ton down tonight and was all over the pitch. The US still lacks in the back, but they do need to figure out the Center back situation and who will replace Bradley in the defensive midfield role.

I have played Bradley’s position at the college level. He was in dead space far too often and had far too many unforced errors.

Sorry, Bradley was putrid tonight.

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm
He grew up in the Hershey/Harrisburg area. His dad once played for the Harrisburg Heat. As a youth he trained with the Harrisburg City Islanders and also played for PA Classics (which is in Lancaster). He is absolutely a Central PA kid, comes back to visit in the offseason and is actually a big PSU football fan.

When Christian Pulisic scored on May 28 in a friendly against Bolivia, he was on cloud nine. The 17-year-old had just become the youngest goal-scorer in the history of the United States national team and it seemed like his life couldn’t get any better.

Little did we know, but Pulisic’s life was going even better than it appeared. That’s because he had spent the previous night at his high school prom before taking a private plane from Hershey, Pennsylvania to Kansas City, Missouri for the match.

Yea i know... derry township... but thanks for the lesson.

Did you know his mom played with Mia? They are close friends.

So have I and he closed pretty much every attack down. He has had way way worse performances and it’s not even up for discussion. He also had some nice long switches tonight. I’m not saying he should be the man out there, but tonight wasn’t the night to blast him unless you don’t watch the men’s team often.

Pulisic now is what happens when you play against high quality opposition, like he did with Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga and soon with Chelsea in the EPL.
He also has a ton of talent. The under 20 team was littered guys who are playing overseas rather than college so hopefully it starts to pay off at the senior level in the next few years.
