Did you get banned again? What the hell for?

Yeah....banned again. The same reason I was banned the first time....trolling. I never broke a rule there so I'm guessing they took my thoughts and opinions as trolling them. My last post there I believe was one in which they were dogging PD3. I don't care for him myself but after someone made a comment Brooks would destroy him, I did state I felt PD3 would beat Brooks if the two meet up. It's the same opinion I would share here as well but to them that opinion is a troll job. All is good though.

You act as if Iowa fans are the only ones who do this. When Spencer was still in play (after you got Suriano), Suriano was a sure move up to 133 as part of the plan for World Domination. Now that it's Suriano and Cortez, Suriano is a lifetime 125...Or if you got Fix, one of them was going to be a lifetime 125...or a 133.

At one point, Cenzo was going to be 149 (before Zain moved up). Then Manville who is no where near 149...but now its going to be Brady after Zain which will be a tough haul (I think he can do it until at least Nolf leaves). We are not the only one's who forecast lineups that might not just be there. It's part of being a homer and a fan. BTW...it was four top level recruits...Lee, Teasdale, Mejia, and Renteria. It's not out of question that in three years, one of them could grow. Also, Teasdale is "already bigger than Lee" as confirmed by Willie. In one thread, '120 is a very tough cut for Fargo for Teasdale. Also, Willie stated "Teasdale is gonna get huge. He's not a 25 or 33." Its just speculation by Willie but Willie is around these guys all the time.

If you were treated like a troll, it's because you argued this over and over again.

The problem with your analysis is obvious from reading it. If Lee had come to Penn State, there was a good chance Suriano could or would move up to 133. Suriano could, probably, also stay at 125 if someone like Fix or RBY came to PSU and fit in at 133. It was also speculated that Cortez could ultimately wind up at 141 if Spencer Lee came. We are talking about people moving up 1 weight class - not multiple guys moving up ultimate weight classes to "fit" after overloading at one weight class (Iowa also had Warner and Rathburn in the mix at 125, who were serious recruits until more bodies were added, when their prowess fell). It is all in the realm of possibility.

Iowa board members insisting there was plenty of room for all those little guys and that they would all come to Iowa turned out to be a load of silliness in the end, so now Teasdale is being slotted in at 133.

The issue is more about the shifting ground of the arguments. Teasdale at 149 was more than speculation - it was wild speculation. Insisting that Mejia and Renteria were both going to come to Iowa after Lee and Teasdale committed was just foolish speculation - not incontrovertible fact as was bandied about. And now that people have decommitted, Teasdale is shrinking. And there is no blinking.

Of course people are going to try and fill holes and speculate. They also want to be greedy. BTW, how was Shakur's move up from 165 to 197? I believed that was talked about on here. I don't think many people were penciling Teasdale in as a surefire 149 as a fact...jack. So relax and have a beer and spread some Christmas cheer. Too much strain can hurt the heart or make you fart, give you pains like angina right in your....Welp, best stop with the corny rhymin'.

Going over to the Iowa board to engage in discussion, joking, banter, etc. would seem fine and welcome by most accounts.

However, there is an important difference between making a point and moving on vs. badgering someone in their own home to make them accept the point. It's the badgering that will cause resentment and an undesired response. And then coming back to BWI and telling everyone here how everyone at HR sucks -- as though we didn't all see what was going on over there -- doesn't win any peace or goodwill.

That's been my observation, at least, and I believe different rules rightfully apply to guests vs. hosts.

Btw...It was JTS and me that had the little spat. I don't agree with him getting the ban hammer dropped on him, either time. In fact, in five years of posting, I think I've seen a mod post once so I don't even know who has the hammer or how it happened. Somebody does, and dimed him out. Wish they would make me or another regular a mod over there.
