So we live part of the year at the beach in NC. We are mid to late 60's and my wife has made sure we are absolutely diligent in our distancing. Two days ago they closed the beach even in to folks with ocean front property.
We have a swimming pool at the house that uses chlorine.
Our neighbors are here and they have grandchildren staying with them for the next couple weeks.
Grandpa came over today to say hello while we were outside and told us they were grilling did we mind? [what we're at the beach] He then lingered around talking from 10 ft away for 10-15 minutes. Maybe he was just being neighborly but my wife and I both though maybe he was hoping we would tell him his grandkids could use the pool since the beach is now closed.
If we were sure it was safe we probably wouldn't care. Would a chlorinated swimming pool kill any virus?
