When in our history have we had this level of high school talent on one Penn State team? Obviously '94 was a dynamic team but since the Rivals database doesn't go back that far, I have no idea if that team was a compilation of great recruiting or more "under the radar" guys who developed.
In the last 16 years, we obviously haven't had a top 5 recruiting class following of a top 12 in the prior year followed by 2 top 20 classes the years before that. 2006 was obviously a great class on paper, but so many of those guys had personal problems it ended up being a disappointment IMO.
Hopefully this class turns out differently, with most of the 4/5 stars working hard and staying focused, with some upward surprises among the 3 stars.
