Are you the Cal Ripken of Penn State football fans?

Anyone here have a consecutive games streak currently going on?

How many consecutive years have you seen at least one Penn State game either home or away? I’m up to 28 consecutive years with at least one home or away game.

36 years. Missed 1981 or it would be 39!

Since 1973 or 1975 was only 7 and 9 so cant remember. But now I hit a home game or an away game at least once a year. Includes bowls. So that is 40 some years?

Still going since 1972, that's 46 years for those who are mentally challenged.

Consecutive years with attending at least one game: Season tickets since freshman year of 1974.
First-ever game in 1960. At least one game per season from '60-'63; then a couple here and there between then and until 1974.

Every home game starting with 1977 season. This is 42nd year.

Correct. So if you want to be known as the "Iron Lion", it would have to be by games, not years.

Cal would attend all road games as well. Pretty sure nobody will come close to Cal's streak of seasons playing every single game.

33 years and counting the Lord willing.

I have been a season ticket holder since 1993 but have attend at least one game since 1976 so 42 years just a baby compared to some others

I'm up to 28 consecutive years also. Got season tickets when they opened the North upper deck. Seems like I go to less games than I used to though.

1968-2016. I just tired of the round trip, TBA game times, relentless shilling for more and more money, and a changing crowd.
I just sit in my lounge chair, a warm bathroom 30 feet away, a refrigerator 20 feet away, and a 65” HD-TV with surround sound. Before the game, I find a Blue Band pregame performance on YouTube, and play it 15 minutes before kickoff. It sets the mood, because they’re mostly from White Out games.
I don’t watch any pregame TV shows, halftime, or post game shows. I check other games during timeouts.
I used to love attending games. Now I love watching on TV.

I'm sure some are the Billy Ripkens of PSU football. (I kid, I kid!)

I have been a season ticket holder since 1970 started attending games in 1967 . We sit in section WCU row 54 chair back seats. Jack the candy man used to sit next to me but, now he sits a couple of rows in back of me.

I had a home streak from the first game played at the new location of Beaver Stadium in 1960 to the Temple game in 2011. 51 years!!! The Temple game is the only one that I have missed since 1959’s Syracuse -PSU game in the old stadium ( near Rec Hall.
