Hard to believe no one else watched any of this game tonight. Two mediocre teams, but the rivalry for PA none the less.....

I did not watch but I did peek. OK, I peeked a lot, but I did not get excited. Well, I got just a bit excited, but I am not yet ready to jump back on the bandwagon, and that's the truth.:)

I didn't watch but I followed. Melancon scares me, he should have recovered his speed by now if he's going to. I also have trouble understanding Cutch and Harrison. Cutch does not show any signs of injury and Harrison should have recovered from trying to prove he deserves his contract.

I'm thinking of laying this at the hands of the batting Coach.

Well, grab the Glov and put him back on the bus with you.....

It's crazy how bad Melancon has been. At some point he needs to go on the DL so they can figure out why he sucks so badly.

MM may prove to be a weakness.......but his 8th save tonite and 3rd in 3 days.......just sayin

He gave up another home run in the 9th, and was shaky per always. Something is wrong with him, big-time.

He threw a couple cutters at 92 mph last night, He's getting back to normal velocity.

Most of the time he was still in the 80's, though. I saw a post somewhere that said his release point this year is higher than it has been in the past, and that this is usually some kind of sign that suggests an injury.

Hope I'm wrong.

Why not us......
We are Family......

Whatever it takes...this is the year!

:)

MM has never be a "stuff" guy really. He has been a pitcher that can throw it where he wants to throw it. If there is an injury concern I would love for them to deal with it now instead of in June/July after he has lost another half dozen games and then hits the DL for the season.

Team as a whole just needs to hit more. I don't think it is coaching guys just need to identify balls out of the zoe better.

The home run was not on a fastball. It just so happened the guy flipped his hands at a down and in slider. Not to often will that pitch be hit fair.
