Cenzo will learn from this loss. Took Jordan down with 20 seconds to go for a 4-2 lead. Went out of bounds and back to the middle for a restart. Cenzo should have cut him. Instead hung on the leg and Jordan got a reversal to send it to OT. At that point of the match, you give up 1, not 2.
his OT shot looked like he was anticipating Jordan stepping towards him and he was wrong...I've seen this comment several times now. But isn't that an elementary concept for a wrestler of Cenzo's experience?
So, if I understand correctly...give the 1, then get on your horse? That's not the DNA of this team, and certainly not what Cael teaches. I can see a wrestler at risk of an imminent reversal scooting to give up the one, but even that flies in the face of the fight these guys have against every takedown, every reversal, etc.Cenzo will learn from this loss. True datImagine the message board reaction if Cenzo cut Jordan for the escape and then gave up a takedown to lose in regulation.
