I thought Jimmy and Johnson wrestled the best match for them this year.

One correction, Tim. The Cowboys were ranked #3. Iowa was #2.

My thoughts:I liked Nico's pin but have to admit if it were the other way around I would have said it was a very quick call. Consistency... in this case the ref was looking for it and watched as the shoulders hit the mat, Not sure if there really was a pause. Jimmy looked good. still wish he would attack the other side some. I would like legs thrown in when the guy is standing to be a stall call - if they are already in then it is stopped. Zain looked good and dominated the match. Wonder if Cutch's knee kept him from driving through on his low single. Looked like he needed a little drive to put the hips down for 2. Johnson - interesting match. Great fortitude. Going to miss all of these Seniors. Time flies pretty quickly, eh?

Agree that I'd be unhappy with the Nico pin if I were a Pokes fan. I loved Jimmy's fire. He pushed the pace of that entire match, and didn't have that look of hopelessness that we've all seen on his face at times. I won't try to guess what's in the young man's mind, but he certainly seems to have the tools to beat anybody. He'll be a scary early tournament draw for somebody.
