Has canning still been banned? It puts a serious primp in trying to raise funds. Accidents happen. Stopping canning is not going to prevent them. They just don't want them to be associated with Thon.

There were 2 canning weekends for 2017 THON -- 1 in September and 1 in October.

For 2018 THON, there will be only 1 canning weekend, in September.

Starting with 2019 THON, there will be no more canning weekends. Thus, the last canning weekend will be 8 months from now.
