I was at Harrisburg High Saturday to watch 2021 OL Nate Bruce. That's the third time I've seen him play now. Honestly, it wasn't the best of games to film/scout. Cumberland Valley's defensive line is pretty small, so he wasn't really challenged all that much. I actually left at the end of the third quarter. One thing that did grab my attention is that he needs to do a better job finishing blocks. There were a few times where he gave up too early. He was also slow getting out of his stance at times. He can get away with that against a rebuilding CV squad, but that is a trend I've noticed before.

Physically, he looks good. Bruce is checking in at around 6-3 1/4, 325 pounds, give or take a few. He was exactly 6-3 when he attended Penn State's Blue-White Game last April, so he hasn't stopped growing. The potential is there, but he also still has a lot to work on and refine. I feel like that's a big reason why schools are still waiting to see more. Penn State's advantage is that they've gotten him on campus for multiple camps, so they know this already. They've seen his potential up-close. If he's able to start improving on some of the little things, he'll start getting way bigger offers than UConn and West Virginia, the two latest schools to offer.
