I caught up with Terence Cain earlier today, father of IMG running back Noah Cain. I'll make sure I get a full update posted tomorrow. I'm currently driving back to State College or else I'd post it asap.
Long story short, the visit went very well this weekend. Noah and his father came up without his mother and they liked it so much that they plan to bring her back now. In fact, his father told me earlier that Penn State will get one of his son's five official visits. It sounds like that could come in June, although nothing is set in stone yet.
He said they were very impressed with a few things, including academics. Noah got to spend some time with the current players, too. That went well. The only minor downfall is that Coach Franklin wasn't in town due to the NFL Draft. With that said, he FaceTimed with Cain and his father a few times this weekend, so they were impressed with his commitment to still do everything he can to interact with Cain and father during their visit.
Again, I'll have a full update from Cain's father tomorrow morning. Just wanted to make sure you all knew that everything went well this weekend. Sounds like the Lions are going to be a serious player here.
