As expected, Penn State made the cut. Other schools include Florida, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Rutgers and Virginia Tech. We talked about this when he visited, but if you missed it, I am under the impression that there are a few other safeties ahead of Hickman on PSU's board. So, the staff isn't pushing him too hard at the moment. Most have been picking Ohio State for awhile now, but I'm beginning to wonder if the Buckeyes are also slow-playing him a bit. Back in February when he visited, he gave me the impression that he wanted to make a commitment around this time, but that doesn't appear to be the case anymore. Either way, he's a great player, great character, so he's someone to follow throughout the summer. When you add in the fact that Lewis Cine moved away, that could Hickman. I also think that Nick Cross would end up at the STAR position if he joined PSU. With that said, Tyler Rudolph could play safety if needed, so that's something else to keep in mind. I believe that all three of those prospects are ahead of Hickman at the moment.
