Shorter and his teammates finished the season 11-1, defeating Manalapan 18-14, in the NJSIAA Central Group 5 Championship game. Shorter had seven receptions for 86 yards and one touchdown. You can read about the game HERE.
He finished the season with 43 receptions for 608 yards and eight receiving touchdowns.
OL Juice Scruggs - FILM - Erie, Pa. - Cathedral Prep
Scruggs and his teammates defeated Berks Catholic, 42-24, Friday night. They advanced to the PIAA State Championship for the third straight year, where they'll face Imhotep Charter in the 4A championship Thursday evening, Dec. 7. You can read more about last weekend's game HERE.
DT Judge Culpepper - FILM - Tampa, Fla. - Plant
Plant's season came to an end Friday night, losing to top-seed Bartram Trail, 34-29, in the FHSAA 7A state semifinals. They finished 12-2 on the year. Culpepper had 10 tackles and one sack in the loss. He finished the season with 84 tackles, 13 tackles for loss and eight sacks. You can read more about the game HERE.
CB Trent Gordon - FILM - Manvel, Texas - Manvel
Manvel advanced to the Texas 5A D1 quarterfinals this past weekend, defeating Cedar Park, 56-17. Gordon finished with three tackles on the evening. They'll now face Temple on Friday, Dec. 8. You can read more about the game HERE.
