A few observations regarding the experience this year at Rec Hall...
1. I don’t know who the new arena announcer is, but he’s killing it! He’s loud, he’s passionate, and he adds excitement to the arena. Great job!
2. Thank you to whoever authorized the removal of the basketball backstops. Finally, a clear, unobstructed view of the video screens.
3. Hannah Mears, the PSU student sideline reporter. This young lady does a remarkable job during the commercial breaks. She also works other PSU sports and her interviews are very professional and entertaining. She has the potential to be another Erin Andrews. ESPN, Fox Sports, BTN, etc....hire this girl!

Another observation - it always feels like it is 100 degrees. I worry about the older fans in attendance dealing with the uncomfortable temps

I had my coat on the entire match but I'm also comfortable in the Caribbean sun.

James Franklin should also just buy seats rather than being moved around 3 times.

I will add that the pre-match music was at a bearable volume, for change.

Also, James Franklin should wear white to a white out.

I thought the stereotype was that older people loved the heat? Florida?

Coach Franklin took time for my nephew and visiting brother-in-law (both at their first Rec Hall dual) for a photo op. Stopped and talked for a few minutes too, very kind.
As Roar has described - Coach Franklin is always open to autographs and photos when out in public. Maybe a white shirt would have been nice at a white out event, but come on guys. The man is at the matches and always promoting PSU.

Roar, sounds like coach Franklin should have at least been in the running for the Ridge Riley award.
