I know Penn State is not a basketball school, but today was the equivalent of a Top 2-3 NCAA tournament seed winning a first round game in OT against a low major Cinderella. Survive and advance. That's not to say that we don't have a ton to work on because we do. But as Joe said and others have stated, a team makes its greatest improvement from week 1 to week 2. Several veterans had bad games and 1 veteran let all his teammates down by getting suspended. I really try not to criticize the players because they aren't professionals, but I have had my doubts about Pry and continue to have them. Today he gets a pass because we had so many kids play D who were never in those situations before. Plus, Thomas looked like Barrett in this 4th quarter in his last year. But I have felt and today further enforced those doubts about Pry. I just do not believe we can win a NC with him as our DC.
