Only downside is Vitale is doing the champioship game with Duke/Rhode Island currenlty so that means listening to the most annoying ESPN broadcaster(and that is saying something) unless maybe, hopefully he'll follow coach K to the Duke bus for a ride and not do the PSU game!

Goes to show you how specific teams rule ESPN. Every other 'tournament' plays the championship game last. I bet Duke wanted to get out early so they played them at 1
 
Down 22-10 early. Lamar Stevens with 2 fouls already. Throwing inbounds passes away. We have to start games like we are actually awake. Freshman need to stop being freshmen at some point.

Very Ugly so far....many turnovers bad shots....YUK!

Played better vs #1 Duke yesterday

Down 22-10 at the 8min mark first half
 
This team needs to find someone who wants to hit a jump shot if it expects to do anything this season
 
Until we find people who can shoot, we won't win games against top flight teams. Shooting is awful!!!
 
Down 30-10 now...have gone 7 minutes without scoring. Only 10 points with three minutes left in the half. Just pitiful.
 
This team needs Reaves back. And it needs to learn how to hit open threes. Otherwise I think they have a lot of talent and I don't blame Chambers for over-scheduling (which he did). They need to get used to going against this level of competition on a regular basis. It will pay off later.

Not sure who the monotone color play guy is calling the game but he seems to know his stuff. I know I've heard him in prior games.
 
Keep in mind these "freshmen" are NOT at the "one and done" level. They will be at PSU to graduate. Give them a year to grow, as a team, physically and mentally. I REALLY believe we will be a pretty good team next year.
I look at a team like Seton Hall. They started a mostly freshmen team a few years ago and had a tough first year. After that they became pretty good.
VERY HARD to have patience as PSU :)

From watching yesterday, they're just bad shooters with horrible shot selection....it wasn't the defense or the ball movement. This is on Chambers since shooting is very coachable. Shep is streaky, Stevens is fine from inside 12', but shakey otherwise, Carr has very poor form on his tgree point shot, watkins is strickly a defensive guy when playing against tougher competition. They'll improve sharply because of their youth, but disappointing start
 
I hoping they have a football-like transition and pull into the upper mid-tier of the B10. One can dream :).
