Interesting discussions today. We have all discussed the pro's [?] and cons to this issue. Jason said it won't really be part of the D platform. Not so sure after today. If they don't make it part of their platform they could alienate a good chunk of their African-American base.
My question is does this make any sense for the D's? Either the above happens or tyhey do make it part of their platform and alienate nearly all of the middle they lost in 2016. It seems the only folks supporting reparations are blacks, and liberal elites, both of which are firmly in their camp already.
This seems like a bread and butter issue for the R's.
Let' see, with governments next trillion dollars we can support reparations for which there are arguably no living victims and no living perpetrators. or we could do infrastructure, or pay down debt, or shore up medicare and SS, or on and on and on.
