Has anyone ever been? Next month I'm going with some buddies for a bachelor party for three nights. I am super excited. If anyone has any recommendations on things we must do or places we must see and/or eat that would be awesome. The nightlife is supposed to be great. Thanks.

Wow, I must have the wrong friends. This young lady is from Iceland. OK, she may be an exception. She was Miss Iceland and also Miss World, 2005. Unnur Birna Vilhjalmsdottir.

Haven't been but many friends have been and it's a sick time. Go and Yelp and check out what the locals rate as the top places to eat, clubs, etc.

Beautiful Icelandic Women...

Legend says, from many years of Vikings bringing back beauties from raids?

Make sure you get some hotdogs. Sounds ridiculous, but I'm serious. Look it up. I was stationed at Keflavik, Iceland for a year. There is so much to see across the landscape in regards to waterfalls and such. One popular thing to do is the "Blue Lagoon". I wasn't a big fan, but many love it. Look it up....it's not too far from Reykjavik.

I was there... but only for a 3 hour layover and never left the airport. The blue lagoon seems like the obvious thing to do. I heard that the heli tours are pretty awesome if you have the funds.

if you re a beer guy check out Skuli Craft Bar

Beer/bars: micro bar, the laundromat, kaffibarrin, the English pub, and skuli

Food: fish and chips, baejarins betzu pylsur (famous hot dog stand), the burger joint, and a bunch of other seafood places around the downtown/warehouse/port area

Things to do: climb the hallgrimskikja and perlan

Thanks for the feedback. I've done some research myself and the hot dogs sound like a must. We're traveling on a direct from from BWI via WOW Air which is awesome. Very affordable air fare. I might need to invest in some outdoor shoes for this trip. Temps next month will be fairly cool as well. And yes I've heard the women are beautiful. Good thing I'm not the one getting married.
