The brother of four-star OL Quinn Carroll alerted me that they are taking an official visit in State College today. Quinn came out with a Top 6 last month and Penn State was the only one of those six he had yet to visit, so they were a priority for him to get to this spring. He does plan to take all five official visits at last check, and all of those are expected to be spring trips with a decision coming soon after.
One of the reasons it is a mid-week visit is because they came straight from an official visit to Virginia Tech (where Quinn's brother played about 10 years ago). The next official visit will be Notre Dame this upcoming weekend.
